My muse and I were doing okay. Maybe a little emotionally distant at times, but okay. Then I changed my hair color and things got dicey. I got my teaching assignment for next term, and things got dicier. I read Jojo's blog, and things got ugly.
It appears that her muse left without warning. One day Jojo and her muse were writing away; the next day Jojo was alone, and her muse was off to warmer, sunnier locales.
That's when I got involved. My muse was sitting right here with me, working our way through the Halloween candy, doing a little school work, switching the laundry, eating a little more candy, and WHAMO! We hit Jojo's blog and my muse was gone. Just.Like.That.
I think they got a 2 for 1 fare to Mexico. Jojo has gone in search of her muse. I'm just going to sit here, eat a little more candy, and enjoy my quiet, albeit empty, head.

At least your muse doesn't use your credit cards adn send you the bill. My muse has expensive tastes - damn her. The last time she went AWOL it was Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Australia. *sigh* If she wasn't so good at coming up with random spots of inspiration i'd throw her over for a muse with a hankering for McDonalds and long walks down polluted streets.
Don't worry, your muse will soon turn up with a perfect tan and lots of great ideas. :)

I'm just confused.
I so always laugh at the run away muses... because I am a MUSE... literally wanna see my drivers liscense??? All you got to do is come find me They are all related to me and they got cold and headed south... unfortunately its COLD here too! ack... they are hiding in the back room sitting on top of the heater vent because it is NOT supposed to be cold here right now!

I am in intense negotiations with my Muse and I expect her full return soon. And yes, she took all her Muse friends with her. Last I heard they were eating chocolate and sipping drinks with those little umbrellas. Some sort of shopping therapy seems to be involved too. Good Luck...;)
and p.s. I am really offended that ~Peach~ did not invite me to Georgia to look for my Muse...
