A New Friend for YOU!

How is it that someone's good news can so often be sad news for someone else?

Here's an example of how that conundrum is playing out in this house:

Susan is lovely and a fairly new friend for me. She is a mom of a child who befriended my youngest son when he desperately needed someone to do that.

She is also a military wife and will soon leave our snow-bound state for another assignment much closer to her own family. It's happy news for her. Not so much for the entire state of Michigan.

Susan is a talented photographer, writer, AND BLOGGER!!

Would you do me a favor? Stop by http://alongfortheride-susan.blogspot.com/ and show her some blogger love (and fall in love with her breathtakingly beautiful children.) And while you're at it, tell her something wonderfully positive about me the state of Michigan.

Sincerely,

Caution

There's a photographer in you...you are a writer.

I went and visited your friend. I did as much convincing as possible.

Love you. Sending you some Spring.

LOL at your 'waiting for comments since 2008'...

And don't put yourself down. Practise taking a shot every day and you'll soon see an improvement...

I hate it when good people flee our friendships. :)

I´m glad your son found a friend, but it´s so hard on them when they move away. I´ve had to go through that too.
Will pop on over to your friend.

You have made me feel so loved. Thank you a million times over. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet you and your wonderful family and with facebook and blogging I hope I can continue to be a part of your lives. Michigan has brought me such happiness and amazing friendships and I wish I could pack it all up and take it with me to my next destination. And I know my son feels the same way. Seeing the great friendship that has blossomed between our boys makes my heart smile.
