Throwing Caution to the Wind
Oh, I'm happy to not be a town-dweller.
Does not matter - this generation of teens have finally made it ok to go outside in our pajamas.
Wow, you wear a nightgown? I'd say that's the height of good manners...Shade and Sweetwater,K
Sooo funny. I wear my boxers down there... anytime is a good time!!!
If it's still morning (a.m.) you are okay to be in your jammies - on the weekend of course.
Dear Nightgown, I have the perfect solution. Simply get out of bed just before your husband, go down and create for him a full blown 6 egg omelet with toast and all the fixins, then, go grab that paper. Simply put, there's no body up at that hour except your husband that will enjoy the food and love the view of his beautiful wife.Good Luck,Chec, I mean Miss Manners
Really, Chec, I mean Miss Manners, I'll stay in bed and do without the paper. SIX eggs? When is your next cholesterol check?
I am dying...Miss Manners...you are a riot!!! Caution...your house, your drive-way, do whatever you want.
Who let Checkered in here? 6 egg omelet? gah
As late as you'd like! Honestly, let those who judge go get the paper for you! :p
lol miss manners even mike cant do 6 eggs have mercy! any time except before the paper is delivered!
LoL! I had just as much fun reading the comments! hahaha
When I first moved here, no one went outside without being completely dressed. I have changed that. I've noticed more and more of them just don't care what other people think and it's a good thing. Noon is still fine with me LOL
Well we have several youth that wear their pajamas to church so I'd say you're pretty safe wearing whatever the heck you want out on your driveway.
Tell her 3:14 p.m. just before the 3:15 p.m. bus with the schoolkids comes down the road.ROTFLMO... great question!Helen
This situation is exactly why I don't wear traditional pajamas or nightgowns. There are lots of comfy, stretchy clothes that are not immediately recognizable as pj's - suitable for fetching the paper, the mail, and delivering kids to school. Problem solved.
Noon. I did it at noon today (only a robe). However, we live in a wooded development, so odds are I won't be seen. In a more "open" place, you might get away with 10am :)
