FF: The I'm Watching You Edition

To the lady who had a cell phone ear piece tucked under her hair, but came up next to me and made eye contact and smiled, how did I know you were talking to the ear piece and not me?

To the karate sensei who came to the elementary school this morning to enroll his daughter, but stopped first to greet all his own students and tell them he was proud of how hard they were working:

To the Weight Watchers people out there who claim they're so full that they can't even eat all their points in one day: I am so hungry that if I could get up there, I would eat my roof. Every.single.shingle.

To my family who has sat on the floor all week because the clean and unfolded laundry has been on the one and only couch? I love you anyway! But, because I know you each know how to fold and put laundry away:

To Blogger, who informed me that I was already following each of the 10 blogs I signed up to follow yesterday and to the sophomores who talked to my freshman daughter on her first day on the high school bus: a virtual hug since any other type would make you throw up.

To the bus driver who is determined to leave the high school before the students from the other side of the building can get to the bus and to the city of Detroit which hovers on the verge of bankruptcy even while its 13,000 city employees demand lay-off negotiations with their 50 labor unions. Yes, 50.

To some mighty special ladies who have agreed to be my healthier living accountability partners (even though I feel that having accountability partners exposes me about as much as if I danced naked at work):

AND
To the student who signs every email, "The girl with the pink hair":

To the stores which put away their school supplies the second day of school and before my child got his final supply list:

To Fiber One who tells me that their products may cause gastrointestinal discomfort: put that in larger print next time so I see it before I eat.

And finally, to

and

for letting me be fragmented each and every Friday:

Hate those ear pieces! I've embarassed myself so many times due to those dang things!

We've always got your back-clothed or not ;) !

Note to self: You have enough GI issues, stay away from Fiber One! lol!

Yeah. What is with that school supplies thing anyway?
Do they think we don't write the rest of the year?
Try and find a piece of ruled paper two days after Labour Day.

What a fun FF post! I love everyone's spin on it. So fun. I am digging the thumbs up and thumnbs down.

There should really be cell photo etiquette. People can be SO rude on cell phones. Ugh! Don't even get my started. lol

Happy FF!

That drives me crazy about the school supplies too! You'd think they'd at least wait until after Labor Day.

Those ear pieces get me every time and make me look stupid.

I love the thumbs up/ thumbs down... very cute and clever.

And you made me giggle with the Fiber one comment. Oh the things we endure to stay healthy!

Happy weekend!

I am awesome with laundry, at least the washing and drying part. The folding and putting away part, not so much:)

That same thing with the cell phone has happened to me too. Drives me too!

Great FF!

A great fragmented post! We too have the same problem with the unfolded laundry...

The beer commercials with the cell phone earpieces are funny, but it's not so funny when it happens in real life... ;)

Loved your thumbs up and thumbs down take on FF! Genius! :)

Putting school supplies out at the beginning of July then yanking them before school's barely started is just so wrong on so many levels.

I'm still giggling about your FiberOne comment... :)

Happy FF! :)

loved how you did Friday Fragments this week; very colorful!

I know what you mean about the ear piece. Before I realized people were having those ear pieces, I thought there were quite a few people talking to themselves out there in public

those sophomore kids rocked to talk to a freshman!!

enjoy the weekend

Ear pieces are straight from the devil. haha, just kidding but really they drive me nuts. At least if you're going to use one talk really loudly so either I know you're on the phone or your just crazy.

I loved the concept of this post...it is great. My favorite was the girl who signs her email "the girl with the pink hair" I guess she wants you to know exactly who she is lest you be fooled by the pink hair!

Great fragments! I loved reading them!

I have a great bus driver thank goodness. She wont even leave them at the bus stop unless someone is there to get them. Thunbs up! Thumbs down on laundry. Where does that stuff come from??

I remember as a child practically running through the school and then getting out to the bus circle and watching that stupid thing pulling away. The amount of time they allow for students to get there is ridiculous!

The Fiber One cracked me up because I once ate three of their bars and I thought I was going to die. Granted that was my fault, but I was hungry and they were the only thing around.

Hilarious Lisa!
So now I know I don´t need to buy Fiber One.... :)
And hate those earpieces too!

Your thumbs up/down idea is great.

Love those ear pieces...customers come walking in with those things on and I forget the earpiece exists, so call the customers wingnuts to myself when I see them talking "to themselves".
Love your post today.
Find ALL the filling foods...the ones with the green diamonds...and try to eat as many of those as you are allowed in a day. That will help with that nagging hunger feeling. My weight was caused by my constant indulgence in chocolate, ice cream and cookies. (sorry) so I really never ate that much in the first place. My points are really hard for me to get through in a day. (sorry again) But hang in there, you will get it and you will love yourself for stickin' and stayin' and making it pay!

Nodding my head in agreement to all--but shouted "Yes! What's up with that?!" about the school supplies (just got home from NOT finding required swim bags, water bottles, pants for 11 year old too big for his 12-13 year old pants and the replacement lunch bag. Got NONE of it.

Love fragments :-)

I loved your thumbs up/thumbs down format this week!

50 unions? I can't even think of 50 trades that would NEED unions =/

Your wittiest post yet!

Now, about that healthier living accountability partner . . . where do I go to get one of those? ; )

I love Fiber One bars, but everyone in this house knows that one bar is the limit! haha

I liked your "I'm Watching You" format this week-very entertaining :) I like how observant you were and that you noticed many things that would normally go unnoticed.
