FF: Things No One Said to Me this Week

Want a fragmented look at my week?  Think about the things that people thought about me, but just didn't say..to my face.

"Things would be better if Checkered could buy another phone charger or two."

"Don't be misled by any rubber band holding her pants closed or blouse gaposis; she's probably toned somewhere in that body."

"The extra clutter looks really good around her laundry room and kitchen and bedroom and..."

"The $3.29 watered-down sweet tea she just bought at Max and Erma's? Such a bad decision."

"I really wish that the Flag family would ask me watch their dog when they travel.  I'd do it for free if they would just ask."

"We know that it's the last week of summer term, but we love you,  Dr. Caution, so much that we've asked the dean to extend the class another week or four so we can spend more time with you."

"You'll be a much more consistent blogger and better meal planner now that your kids are out of school for the summer."

"Your Hibiscus is amazing!"

"Don't worry about the open zipper fiasco!  I hear it's all the fashion rage these days."

For more chaos, check out these sites (while I try to figure out just how many people saw my open zipper and never said a word):

Cell phone chargers. UGH! We currently have about 5 wall chargers and ZERO phone chargers. And of course my phone always dies in the car. Why can't they just make a universal charger?!?!!

I think chargers and cables breed - they must do as why else would we have a box overflowing with them in the garage after I cleared out every unexplainable (for that read never used) item in our house and now it seems we have just as many again!

Great post!

Mrs. 4444 said I should follow so I did... she is right you are a riot!! I did the fragment thing over on my Everyday Mommy blog and then tried Friday Flip offs over at Everyday Bliss... you might like that too... it was very cathartic. I Flipped my Fat Jeans off for not fitting -- they so deserved worse! Anyway, delightful to meet you.

Oh, you're so funny. We have phone charger issues here as well. They are the rabbits of the electronic world.

And I just bought a new cell phone charger. If only I'd known, I would have asked you for one. Your hibiscus is doing about as well as my tomato plants.

I would of told you your zipper was undone, I would of told you to fertilize your hibiscus, I would of smiled and said, that's all the chargers you have, let's add my pile to it and make a mountian. The extra clutter, well it's there...just turn your head and ignore it for now, it's summer time. It's time to play, relax and skip any kind of work if at all possible.
Take care and have a terrific and blessed weekend.

I don't believe you. You couldn't possibly have made all these up, so I think you actually heard some of these, or all of them. Yeah, all of them sounds more like it.

THANK YOU for the laugh this morning!

How is it I can relate to that jumbled up knot of cords?

Do I start every comment here with, "You're so funny!" ? (And yes, brilliant.)

What's really, really funny is that basket of chargers, etc. because we have one EXACTLY like it (and I'm not kidding.)

Ha! I had an open zipper fiasco recently!!

Well, hell. I'll take an open zipper over the toilet-paper-on-shoe problem any day. Fret not, Ms. Caution.
