No School!

A smattering of snow ~
Icy roads~
Single digit temps~
Chili in the crock pot~
Cookies in the oven~
Christmas music in the air~
and
A little extra time to finish that forgotten homework!
All is well.
Very, very well.

walking in the (almost) winter wonderland!! Looks beautiful!! How fun to have an unexpected day like this and on a Monday of all days! I'm sure it was enjoyed by all (and never happened in Montana; they never closed the schools, NEVER! Son always hoped for just one snow day.....never happened :)

stay safe and warm!

That sounds like a perfect day. Think I'll go start some chili now :-)

We've had awfully cold temps and this morning a dusting of snow, but not enough to close (or delay) schools, much to my daughter's dismay. She's never really had a snow day - hurricane days when we lived in FL, but not a snow day! I made chili yesterday and today I have a pork roast in the oven, trying to keep the house warm!
