Too Much Snow? NEVER!

It's March so people around these parts are getting a little antsy. We've had lots and lots of snow this year, and there are many people ready now for spring. They are complaining about the long wet winter. They are tired of the heavy coats and salt-laden cars. They would be very happy to put the snow shovels away. While we still have several inches of snow on the ground, it's hard to find much good about it.

That's why it's hard to believe that in 8 or 9 months we will all be anticipating the first snow of next winter and we will be excited when those first flakes drift toward Earth.

People will wait in line for salt and shovels and snow-blower repair and everyone will be excited - as though snow holds some type of mystery they've never experienced before.

And then the snow will accumulate, the first snow day/no school call will arrive, and life will be simply delicious all over again.
