Ouch, I Think

I asked my youngest son if he had given any thought to getting a girlfriend. He asked, "Do I have to?" Since I had just watched the movie, Juno, I thought the prudent answer would be, "No. Not now. Not ever."

Thirty seconds later he said, "I've been thinking about the girls in my class. The teacher is the best one. She's my favorite."

I prompted, "Is she the best one because she reminds you of me?"

"Not even one bit!" he laughed.

Oh! Be careful, little mother, what you ask!

You're hilarious.....that would be kind of creepy if a teacher that he "liked" reminded him of you wouldn't it??? Ewwww......
I remember when my son started liking girls. It's the age of darkness I call it. It gets better. I think. Either that or I just drank Bloody Mary's all through our kiddos teenage years. That could be it :)
Thanks for commenting about my town today. Come see me. I'll make you a Mint Julep and we'll sit by my pool and watch the birds play...

When one of my daughters was in kindergarten, she told me she wished the teacher was her mother instead of me.

tee-hee! my son told me the other day he liked his kindergarten teacher very much (in fact, we all like her), but, he said, her kisses aren't magic, like yours...bless!
