Oh, I'm happy to not be a town-dweller.

Does not matter - this generation of teens have finally made it ok to go outside in our pajamas.

If it's still morning (a.m.) you are okay to be in your jammies - on the weekend of course.

Dear Nightgown, I have the perfect solution. Simply get out of bed just before your husband, go down and create for him a full blown 6 egg omelet with toast and all the fixins, then, go grab that paper. Simply put, there's no body up at that hour except your husband that will enjoy the food and love the view of his beautiful wife.

Good Luck,
Chec, I mean Miss Manners

Really, Chec, I mean Miss Manners, I'll stay in bed and do without the paper. SIX eggs? When is your next cholesterol check?

When I first moved here, no one went outside without being completely dressed. I have changed that. I've noticed more and more of them just don't care what other people think and it's a good thing. Noon is still fine with me LOL

Well we have several youth that wear their pajamas to church so I'd say you're pretty safe wearing whatever the heck you want out on your driveway.

Tell her 3:14 p.m. just before the 3:15 p.m. bus with the schoolkids comes down the road.

ROTFLMO... great question!

This situation is exactly why I don't wear traditional pajamas or nightgowns. There are lots of comfy, stretchy clothes that are not immediately recognizable as pj's - suitable for fetching the paper, the mail, and delivering kids to school. Problem solved.

Noon. I did it at noon today (only a robe). However, we live in a wooded development, so odds are I won't be seen. In a more "open" place, you might get away with 10am :)
