Home Again, Home Again; Jiggety-Jig

4,950 miles.

15 states.

The best vacation ever.

Now, the homecoming.

A hot tub cover destroyed by the dog.

The grass 8 inches long.

The topsy turvy plants pretty much dead (even though the dogsitter did water.)

Checkered and Son 1 off to Boy Scout camp.

No food in the fridge.

One over-due library book.

And this:

Home again, home again; Jiggety-Jog.

Briege(my older cat) has ruined all the antique woodwork in the house. Not if I go on vacation, if I go out for 3-10 hours. She doesn't like that.

It's always good to be home, even though the journey is fantastic.
I am thinking, just thank goodness it was the cover of the hot tub and not the hot tub itself. And oh YAY! Laundry for days!
Welcome home, thank you for taking us along. I'd say I'd help you with the laundry for taking us along on your trip, but I am just too far away.

Overdue library book?

Hmmm...see you at the library my friend when I finally get my butt there to return mine.

And I can not even blame my overdue book on a 15 state, 5000 mile journey. At least you have an excuse.

(Notice I started two sentences ago with "and". I am getting over my phobia/incorrect teachings.)

Welcome home...

Unbelievable vacation, thanks for sharing it. 15 states is very impressive, wish I had the stamina for that, I just don't do well on long car drives.

So glad you a home safely. Can't wait to hear more about the trip. Thanks for the comment, you were the only one who knew the artist of that song...I love her music too!

Um Caustion...You DO. NOT. want me to tell you where things go...Any repairs I do, take me four times longer, because I never know where I have put my tools! Even if I had a tool five minutes ago, I couldn't tell you where I set it down!
Life is one big treasure hunt at my house!
