What makes me happy? Camping with friends who are also paramedics. It is very handy when:
Child #2 decides to break rocks between his bare feet and cuts his ankle nearly to the bone.
and
Child #4 is bitten by a dog.
Poor Lt. Matt. He may have to vacation with us for years to come.
Now fly over to Leigh's place, and tell us what makes YOU happy.

Now that sounds like a fun camping adventure.
Yes, by all means, you need to take Lt. Matt with you again!
Lucy
Thank goodness for Lt. Matt!
thank God for lt matt! :)
Glad Lt. Matt was there to help.
That was very handy to have them with you. Did they come in their own easy to stow carry case too!!! Hope your kids are all ok.
Yay Lt. Matt!
I'd say!
You and your blog makes me happy. Stop by when you have a moment, I have something there for you.
We have a forester/medic that comes with us once in awhile, it has come in handy when you're turly decides to climb and fall or step on things and cut her toe to the bone.
Keep up the great work, wise words and funny reads. Take care and have a blessed day today.
Well ouch, your kids sound like mine.. they don't do anything halfway lol. I married a FF so I have my own built in it's okay man around the house lol..
Did you have to give him your insurance card???
Poor kids...lucky to have friends like that!!!
ouch! lucky Lt. Matt was there to save the day. Maybe he could vacation with you until the kids are grown, or move in..;p
OK so if I ever decide to be brave and go camping I am going to make sure I take a paramedic and a wildlife expert with me :-)
yeah for Lt. Matt. Hope everyone is healing nicely!

Sounds like one of my vacations!
Thank goodness there was someone along who could handle those things. It guess it beats a trip spent in the emergency room.
Wow, it's like good news and bad news.
Oh dear - cutting feet is par for the course, but being bitten by a dog? Hope you relaxed in between...
I can just see your packing list for camping: tent, sleeping bags, coolers, Lt. Matt, food
I hope everyone is healing quickly!
Sometimes I wish I would've married a doctor. Oh well, at least I get free internet.
Wow! Now that's a great idea -- taking your own medic with you!
(running a little behind on my blog reading this week - can ya tell?!)
Ah...fond summer memories...and the scars to show for them, too. Nice.
Awww, you did him a favor! What if his skills had gotten all rusty over the weekend because of lack of use?
