In England even today kids do not get braces unless things are really bad - as in horrendously so. I think it is a great shame as having good looking teeth makes such a different to anyone's appearance. I used to laugh like my fellow countrymen about the apparent US obsession with teeth but after six years of living here look at fellow Brit's teeth now in shame and horror.
Your daughter's teeth look fabulous and I am sure it is a great confidence booster, not that she really needs one being as pretty a picture as she is!
