Into the slow cooker, place:
- chicken (I used boneless, skinless breasts)
- 1/4 cup (I used far more) chicken broth (I used beef broth)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- mushrooms
After the chicken has cooked 5 or 6 hours in the slow cooker, in a different pan mix 1 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup flour. Add that to the juice in the slow cooker and allow it to cook 15 to 30 minutes further. I allowed it to cook for 5-10 minutes.
Whether you follow the recipe or my meanderings, it will be dee - lish!! That's a promise :)

I literally LOLed. NOT PLUGGED IN???? Even I can manage that! Still, does look good...
i have done that it makes me so darn MAD! I have been tempted to use beef stock with chicken but have resisted so far... have been known to use chicken stock with beef though and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my crock pots/ slow cookers ...i have one of every size :) love love love em!
ohhhh what i do with this kind of recipie... instead of thickening it I put rice in and let the rice soak up the excess liquids the rice gathers in the flavor... of course got to make sure there is PLENTY of liquid in there when adding rice!
:) YUMMMM
I ahve done that before...and it was not fun at all.
The recipe does sound yum-o though,
