No, my loved ones are not allowed on the furniture. Dixie used to sneak to sleep on the couch. She would wait til she thought we were asleep and sneak down the hall. (Hard for a dog to sneak when her nails click on hardwood floors!) She would go to the couch in the farthest room from our bedroom and get on the farthest cushion. Vol Fan usually wakes before his alarm so every morning when his alarm went off, he would hear her jump from the couch and click back down the hallway. :)
I don't allow the girls on the furniture, but when I am gone, I am sure they lay all over the couch. :) The dogs have beds, but usually sleep on the couch.
Well, it's a long story...At first no one was allowed on the carpet or on the furniture. That didn't last long, so they were allowed on the carpet but not on the furniture. Then one night I found Misty snuggled into a little ball on one end of the couch and felt sorry for her...and it was all downhill from there. My GSD still doesn't go to the couch unless he's worried about something. Then, for some reason he does. But, truth be told, both of them are allowed to be pretty much wherever they want. I caved.
the cat is not allowed in the house... and the kids are allowed on the furnature at times... but not all the time... the grand kids.. rule the house they can get on everything LOL
Cute photo! I'm now finding my dog on my sofa after six years of no issues with this. I guess she figures it's worth it as long as she can get away with it!
Yep, my loved ones, my fur babies are allowed on the furniture. But they are all small doggies. I wish I had never allowed it, but I did and they now rule!!!! LOL.
I get the couch. I like to lay on it in full potato style. So there is no room for either one. My pooda thinks he is king tut and should be able to perch his 62 pounds wherever he wants but mostly I have him keep to the floor. We don't both fit on the couch.
Wilburs a person covered in fur. Jim has a recliner, Mike has his own recliner, I have my own too and Wilbur, he has a love seat that he stretches out on like he owns it. He even has two pillows for his head. He sleeps between the sheets, between Jim and I at night and when no one is home he is on everyone's recliner. Love him though, fur and all. Take care and God Bless!!

Benjamin Franklin is an Egyptian Ossicat. He is so large, he owns everything...
and he loves to sit with me in my design room...on his own quilt.

Cute pic, by the way. :-)
My "loved ones" believe that I purchased the couches for them. I sometimes have to beg to sit with them!

I have no "loved ones", so I guess I let the kids sit on them instead. LOL (jk)
My loved ones are not allowed on the furniture but they sneak up on it when I'm not looking.

Mine are not allowed on the couch but I have been known to break the rules every once in a while (like this morning :))
He not only sits on the furniture, but he sleeps snuggled under the covers with me !
Our loved one sits and sleeps wherever she deems suitable;)
LOL - yes I do very very occasionally. The dog gets too hot up there and prefers the floor anyway...
